The goblin dragged its new hulking form up from the floor grabbing its bow. With a snarl it aimed its bow at the saurus and pulled back all the way on the string straining the thin wood for all it was worth. With a howl the bow snapped in half sending the arrow hurling at incredible speed.

The goblin spearman carefully moved forward seemingly bolstering its confidence that the Saurus could bleed. Despite its new resolve it raised its shield in front of its face.

KEDAKAI's Turn

Draich drawn, the Druchii warrior stalked forth slightly with his eyes locked on the goblins. The runty greenskins would likely pose little threat to him but the Saurus on the other hand... Kedakai rarely fought with Lizardmen. They were physically strong and while not typically cunning in any sense of the word the strength often made up for the mental deficiency. Either way, it mattered little for Khaine cared little from where the blood flowed. The Bloody Handed god did not look down on the slaughter of weaker beings, no. Instead he endorsed it whole-heartedly. Tightening his iron grip on the black leather of his Draich's hilt, Kedakai advanced with a predatory glint in his eyes reminiscent of a Cold One bull on the hunt.

The goblins remained utterly fixated on the roaring saurus not noticing the dark elf sneaking up behind them. The shaman spun his staff around collecting green energy from the air around him.

The shaman continued spinning until a ring of energy surrounded him. With a yell he released the energy and a goblin sized fist shot forward. As the fist flew forward more energy seemed to stream from each goblin it passed and it grew larger until it slammed into Teheboq.

Teheboq's Turn.

Teheboq breathed heavily. The goblin shaman was more formidable than he had originally assumed. Knowing that he had to end this fight quickly Teheboq sprinted towards the spear goblin. Noticing the goblin's defensive stance, Teheboq feinted a quick slash, turning his poisoned weapon quickly in his hands and shifting into a deep lunge towards the greenskins slimy heart.

At the sight of Teheboq's charge the goblin instinctively threw its shield in front of its face. Teheboq lunged forward at the goblins exposed heart.

Seros leaned down to inspect the markings. They didn't make any sense, and beyond that they didn't even appear to be in a consistent language. Reaching a hand down to brush some of the dirt off the symbols began to twist and turn into symbols he was quite familiar with from his families forbidden books. They all shifted around the stone before his eyes before forming a large single word in chaos runes. "Fool" Seros took a step back before the stone began to crack. He turned to run but it far to late the stone shattered sending fragments flying into the air. Seros began to fall into darkness. As he fell the pieces of stone sparkled and vanished before him and the land which had just fallen through seemed to rebuild itself and enclose him entirely in darkness.

Thankfully the fall was brief as his hulking armored form slammed into the ground below causing a shower of debris. Looking around it seemed he had fallen into the center of a battle beside a very surprised goblin holding a bow. A large saurus warrior was fighting a goblin in front of him and behind him was an unusually large goblin holding a broken bow next to what he knew instantly, by the stench of greenskin magic, to be a shaman. What he saw behind them raised an eyebrow under his thick metal helmet. It was a druchii assassin wielding an oversized blade casually walking up behind the shaman with a murderous glint in his eye.

The goblin archer next to Seros was stunned to say the least as the man had fallen into the midst of this cavern brawl. The shaman yelled something at the goblin which seemed to snap it out of its confusion. Drawing a dagger is jumped on Seros as he started to get to up.

As the goblin launched forward its huge meaty fist slammed towards the ground as Seros rolled away to dodge the attack. The goblin let out a howl of pain as its fist smashed into the earth and a cloud of dust and rocks rose into the air.


-Spear Goblin -
The spear goblin turned only briefly when it heard the loud crash of a metal covered knight fall from the ceiling. The snarling lizardman in front of him warranted much more attention. After seeing Teheboq's sword thrust into the ground the goblin saw his chance. Thrusting his spear straight forward towards Teheboq's eyes.

Seros sighed inwardly. Of COURSE the strange chaos runes were a trap, chaos runes were always a trap. He would be given nothing by the Great Magician - rather, he had to earn every scrap of power and knowledge. This situation he had quite literally fallen into was interesting, as well - calculations ran through Seros' head, judging the combatants. The goblins were negligible, of course, but a saurus is just big and stubborn enough to pose a potential problem, even wounded. The dark elf was an unknown quantity. Caution was advisable, here.

As another strike pinged harmlessly off his armor, Seros turned his attention back to the goblins assaulting him. Annoyed, he gestured casually at one of them. "Die."

(Red Fire, I choose you!)

Padding quietly up to a short distance away from where the goblin he saw shaking a staff around, Kedakai tensed his arm muscles in preparation for an assault. Despite growing up in a city where the study of magic was forbidden for any whom were of the male caste, for reasons that the Assassin was ignorant of, Kedakai still knew that the staff-wielding goblin was likely a shaman of his kind. The Master Assassins taught their apprentices well and ensured that they knew which targets to hit during the frenzy of combat and which were the most dangerous. As such he had learned of the greenskin shamans and their dangerously unpredictable magics, making this unfortunate individual his first victim. Lashing out from where he'd stopped his advance, the Balor'ai assassin charged forward at the shaman with his sword resting across his right shoulder as he ran with both hands on the hilt, coiled ready for an over-handed blow that would crush the shaman's defenses.

Kedakai jumped upon the unsuspecting shaman bringing his fullblade down upon the shaman's head.

The shaman yelled in pain as the druchii blade cut him leaving a thin line of blood across his chest. This fight had gone from certain victory to certain confusion. Snarling the goblin swung his staff low at Kedakai's legs.

Teheboq's mind raced to take in the sudden appearance of the two new combatants. The armored warrior-mage stunk of the potent chaos energies he had used to fry the goblin archer, and the elf bore the trappings of those who stole his people's artifacts. Either way Teheboq considered himself blessed that the strangers entered the battle when they did. Teheboq's mind shifted back to the battle at hand only to discover that he had bashed aside the goblin's spear with his shield and was preparing for a counter-thrust; his instincts had continued the fight in his mind's absence. Focusing his anger and confusion into strength, Teheboq lunged his sword towards the goblin's tiny chest.

The goblin grinned as the bone blade came around for a second thrust confident in his skills. He dropped his shield just like before but Teheboq was expecting it and turned the blade of his sword up causing the tip to catch upon contact with the shield. A sickening sound was heard as the shield was destroyed in a shower of splinters. The blade easily ran through the goblins small torso. It looked up with a gaze of shock before it convulsed and blood began to pour from its mouth. With a clawed foot Teheboq unceremoniously parted the goblin from his blade.

Ignoring the goblin that had been burning next to him completely the hulking goblin roaring in frustration grabbed the two halves his bow in each hand and plunged them down on either side of Seros's neck.

Kedakai you're up.

Seros was outraged. This filthy greenskin had wounded him, but more importantly, it had wounded his PRIDE. "You DARE strike the chosen of the Raven God? A drop of my blood is worth the lives of your entire race, animal." Seros extended his hands, attempting to summon forth another wave of flickering fire.

Maneuvering around the greenskin's worthless swipe at his legs, the Dark Elf fighter eyed his opponent with interest. The first swipe was one of the most deadly and the small creature had survived it with seeming no worse for the wear none the less. He had not expected such fortitude from such a small creature; perhaps he had underestimated the greenskin. With an excited gait to his movements, Kedakai smirked and grinned like a school-boy getting a chocolate bar as he moved his blade to stab down at the base of the gobbo's throat.

Kedakai's blade swung down onto the goblin shaman's throat as he came in low. The goblin dug his foot into the ground and launched himself sideways narrowly missing the brunt of the blade. The large blade caught the shaman's arm as he dove away leaving a thin trail of blood but relatively unscathed.

The shaman jumped back to his feet with remarkable agility. Throwing his staff forward he brought his staff down towards Kedakai's head.

Teheboq. You're golden.

With his immediate problems disposed of Teheboq took a moment to truly take in his "allies". The heavily armored warrior was clearly a sorcerer; Teheboq had not only seen the wizard's devastating magic, but the very smell of chaos permeated every bit of the human. Teheboq had heard the stories of the warrior-mages of Tzeentch, humans who bent the foul winds of chaos to serve both themselves and their ever-changing master. Behind him lay the elf, a word that Teheboq had heard while in the town, "Druchii" seemed to fit the lithe creature perfectly. Two beings that were especially susceptible to the winds of magic, every fiber of his being should have been screaming at Teheboq to destroy them, and yet he felt nothing of the sort. He knew that he could not trust them, but something deep and ancient within himself told him that he would need them in his sacred mission. Trusting himself, Teheboq ran forward and brought his sword down on the head of the heavily-burned goblin.

The large goblin looked up as the lizardman charged its eyes filled with hate and bloodlust as steam and smoke rose from its burned body. Teheboq raised his blade and swung hard with a vertical strike.

The goblin lurched forward grabbing Teheboq's forearms halting hit swing. With a surge of strength he pushed Teheboq back and looked back at the two heavily armoured foes before him, unsure of who he hated more.

It didn't take long for the goblin to decide who he truly hated more as the scent of burnt flesh was still ripe in the air. Pushing Teheboq back he dove for Seros his sharp fangs descending on the wound he had inflicted earlier.
