Adventure - Clearing the Tunnels
Adventure: Clearing the Tunnels
Admin: FlyingPinkPony
Players: 2-3
Reserved Slots: None
Deadline: TBD
The tunnels beneath the town have become a cause of concern for many of the towns inhabitants. Rightfully as the tunnels of the mainland can house far worse horrors than the trolls, goblins, and skaven most folks fear. The tunnels as such have been sealed but a dwarf prospector by the name of Marlik Irontoe has obtained permission from the paymaster to do an expedition into the tunnels for both the potential of fine ores as well as to an initial mapping of the tunnels. Both of these objectives would be of tremendous benefit to the town and as such a large reward is being offered by Irontoe to anyone brave enough to assist him in his quest to map the tunnels. He is an additional cut to anyone who survives the encounter should they find rare ores, metals, or treasure. Flyers have been posted throughout the town and Irontoe himself is waiting by the tunnel entrance in the center of the city.

Re: Adventure - Clearing the Tunnels
His wounds mostly recovered, Teheboq felt confident enough to enter the town. Teheboq had little fear of the town's regular denizens attacking him when he was weakened, but he knew that some of his recent "allies" had taken up residence within the crumbling walls. The thought the vampire and the Chaos worshipper made Teheboq shudder. Those two wouldn't hesitate a moment to attack a being they perceived as weak. Such a mentality was alien to Teheboq, but so were their wanton displays of violence. No doubt those two were following after the being that had given them the coins. Teheboq had been tempted to find the robed-figure himself, but he decided that whatever he might learn about the mysterious man wouldn't be worth the danger.
Making his way through the main gate Teheboq felt the guards' stares. They didn't trust a being as alien as a Saurus, especially on that spent as much time outside of the port as Teheboq, but they knew that with their poor weaponry and training they would never be able to keep the massive lizard from entering. Teheboq was used to such stares. Despite the diversity of the port, a Saurus was still a rare sight, and rumors had spread quickly about the bony, blue lizard that could speak like a man. Perhaps if he spent more time in the town, the locals would be less likely to follow his every movement. Teheboq tabled the thought when he saw a flyer looking for adventurers to help investigate the tunnels beneath the island. Deciding it would be wise to ingratiate himself with the townsfolk, Teheboq ripped the flyer from the wall and headed towards the center of the city.
Shortly Teheboq found himself standing before a dwarf who was eyeing him suspiciously. Teheboq held up the flyer in one hand. "Job accepted," Teheboq said, his eyes scanning the dwarf to see how he would react to the Saurus' limited speech.

Re: Adventure - Clearing the Tunnels
We'll be closing this one for the time being due to lack of folks. If you would kindly repost and join Knight's Challenge. And we can get started as soon as you're ready.
Re: Adventure - Clearing the Tunnels
If you can get your friend to join we'll still do all 3. Let me know if this is going to work for you.
Re: Adventure - Clearing the Tunnels
I'd be all for that, but I couldn't get a hold of him today, so he probably won't have his character finished for at least 2-3 days (most likely next time I can hang out with him though). So don't worry too much about it.
Re: Adventure - Clearing the Tunnels
Get him to join and depending on the time of his arrival it may be a shortened adventure.
