Race Traits and Available Races

Here is a list of acceptable Races in this setting. If you wish to be something else contact myself or one or one of the other admins and we'll see what we can do.

Men- Empire, Tilea, or other.
Dwarf
High Elf
Dark Elf
Wood Elf
Chaos Mortal
Lizardmen
Ogre
Beastmen
Skaven
Vampire Counts - Vamps or Necromancers

Anything else I'm forgetting?

Races not allowed-
Chaos Daemons - Reason: Nearly impossible to RP/Fluff properly.
Chaos Dwarfs - Reason: I hate them with a fury unseen before by the gods.

If for some reason you have a really strong desire to play one of the races above and feel you can properly roleplay it etc, send me a PM and we'll see if we can work something out.


Racial Traits
High Elf Traits

    Swordmaster - 1 Rank
    Type: Passive
    Effect: Greatweapons no longer have the Slow ability.

    Masters of Magic - Max ranks 2
    Type: Passive
    Effect: You gain magic resistance 5/10 and spell reduction 1/2.


Dark Elf Traits

    Cultist of Pleasure - 2 Ranks
    Type: Passive
    Effect: Whenever you suffer damage you gain +5/10 Ws and Ag for 1 turn.

    Disciple of Khaine - Max ranks 2
    Type: Passive
    Effect: Whenever you slay an opponent you regain 1/2 wounds. You regain an addition wound if you killed you opponent in melee.


Human Traits

    Overcharge - 1 Rank
    Type: Passive
    Effect: Black Powder weapons gain an additional 5 S.

    Desperate Faith- 2 Ranks
    Type: Passive
    Effect: When reduced to less than 25/33% of your max hp you gain +5 to Ws & Wp.




Dwarf Traits

    Ancestral Hatred - 2 Ranks
    Type: Passive
    Effect: +2/4 damage against greenskins and skaven.

    Gromil Armor- 1 Rank
    Type: Passive
    Effect: You gain +1 armor in heavy armor but you cannot dodge attacks at all.



Lizardmen Traits

    Natural Killer - 2 Ranks
    Type: Passive
    Effect: You gain +10/20 to any rolls to wound when your foe is below 25% of their maximum health.

    Lone Hunter - Max ranks 1
    Type: Passive
    Effect: You gain +5 Ws when you are the only ally in your zone.


Skaven Traits

    Lead from the Back - Max ranks 2
    Type: Passive
    Effect: You gain +2/5 Bs and Wp when 2 or more zones away from any enemy.

    WarpStone Snuff - Max ranks 1
    Type: Powerful Free Ability
    Effect: Gain +25 on your next cast roll. If you fail to cast it is automatically a miscast.



Chaos Mortal Traits

    Chosen - Max ranks 1
    Type: Passive
    Effect: Heavy armor worn by the chaos mortal grants an additional 1 armor. You cannot dodge while in this armor.

    Taint of Chaos - Max ranks 2
    Type: Passive
    Effect: One enemy each round in same zone suffers an automatic 1/2 chaos damage.

    Armored Caster - 1 Rank
    Type: Passive
    Effect: Reduce the casting penalty for wearing heavy armor armor to -5.



Wood Elf

    Skirmishers - Max Ranks 1
    Type: Passive
    Effect: All bows and longbows become skirmish weapons.

    Guerrilla Warfare- Max Ranks 2
    Type: Passive
    Effect: Gain a +15/30% dodge chance if you didn't attack or take a non-move, non-free action last turn.



Vampire Counts

    Blood Frenzy - Max Ranks 2
    Type: Passive
    Effect: Gain +5/10 S and Ag the round after you slay an opponent in melee.

    Armored Caster - 1 Rank
    Type: Passive
    Effect: Reduce the casting penalty for wearing heavy armor armor to -5.




Tomb Kings of Khemri

    My Will be Done! - 2 Ranks
    Type: Passive
    Effect: The first failed roll in an encounter you subtract 10/20 from the roll and check again (This is an exception to the normal rule that rolls are final.

    Swirling Sands of Khemri - 1 Rank
    Type: Passive
    Effect: All ranged attacks suffer a -5 penalty when attacking you.
